New litter expected!

We received a great news - Sargis will become a daddy soon! Lovely Kiki (Coros Ginger) is expecting a litter later in April. Keeping fingers crossed and hoping to meet the new babies soon. Serious inquiries are welcome at http://www.pikkuhajyn.fi/. The pedigree will be an interesting combination of American bloodlines.

Archi and Avatar

Sar's and Chiki's babies Archi and Avatar turned two months old last week! Now they are stacking like big clever boys should. They are looking for good homes where they will be spoiled and loved to pieces just like their parents.

Crufts 2010

We are back from a 5 day trip to UK to the world's greatest show - Crufts. Still very tired, but very happy with our results.

Sargis (INT CH Wyndsong Halcyon Midnight Watch) handled by Mr. Fabrizio Manni - second in open class, repeating his last years' result and Deena (INT CH Shalako Dynamite) won the open class and then was chosen by the judge, Mrs P. Laverick, as reserve Best Bitch owner-handled!

Many thanks to the judge for recognizing my black babies and all friends and coleagues who came to support and cheer for us and left their notes at our benches!

Puppies!

I am very happy to share the info on the litter INT CH Wyndsong Halcyon Midnight Watch sired in Israel. The proud mom of two beautiful boys is Elegant Van Simvic, a Belgian import and Grand Champion of Israel. This is the first schipperke litter in Israel and I am very happy to be a part of this project. Many thanks to Avishag to taking such good care of the babies and I hope they will find their perfect homes soon!

Belgian vacation

Trip to Flandres International Dog Show in Gent (Belgium) was just another show that I flew alone to with two dogs. How do I manage? Keep it simple - dogs travel together in the hold in the large crate that has detachable wheels, I take only what I will need and pack it all into a small suitcase. Sometimes getting on and off the train can be tricky, but there are always nice people around who are willing to help. Airports and train stations in Europe are well equipped to accomodate the handicapped - so I have no problems getting around. We flew from Vilnius to Brussels on Friday and took a train to Gent. Saturday was a leisure day - spent it walking around the Old Town and visiting Flandres Horse Fair.

The show had an entry of 1726 dogs. It runs only once in two years in a huge Flandres Expo Hall. Schipperkes were first in the ring for Mrs. Ewa Buklad from Poland. The entry was not too high - only 10 dogs, but it is very exciting to compete in the country of origin. I am very happy that we did not take this trip for nothing - Wyndsong Halcyon Midnight Watch made me proud by winning Best of Breed and Shalako Dynamite was Best of Opposite!
