International Dog Show in Milan (Italy)

On January 23 we opened this year's show season in the beautiful Italy. Miss D got excellent in Champion class and CACIB and Sargis was Best of Breed under Mr. Silvio Rivolta (IT). Then Sargis was placed second in the Group competition by the Irish breed specialist Mr. Paul Lawless. Huge thanks to both judges!

Winter 2011

Vilnius, December 2010

We ended the year with style and without going too far from home to have fun - INT CH Wyndsong Halcyon Midnight Watch went best of breed at Vilnius Winter International Dog Show (breed judge Nijole Zeniene, Lithuania) and was shortlisted in the group by the Russian judge Natalia Raschihmarova. Next day he was Best of Breed at Christmas Cup International Dog Show and won nicely represented Group 1 under Lithuanian herding breeds specialist Natalija Nekrosiene.

Sargis in Slovenia

Yes, we did it again!

On October 2, my schips won two high titles - in dogs and bitches at the European Dog Show 2010 in Celje, Slovenia!! INT CH Wyndsong Halcyon Midnight Watch - CAC, CACIB, Best of Breed, European Winner'2010 and shortlisted in the group! Breed judge Mr. Tamas Jakkel (Hungary), group judge Blaz Kavcic (Slovenia)

Kaunas 2010

On September 12 Sargis was Best of Breed and Group 2 at the all-breed National dog show in Kaunas judged by the herding breeds specialist Elena Balazovitz from Hungary. Team Andrew-Sargis competed in the Junior Handling competition and was placed second in Andrew's age group by Dagmar Klein (Germany)

Vilnius shows September 4-5, 2010

The autumn is here and we are continuing our fun show season 2010! On September 4-5 I took Sargis to two back-to-back National all-breed dog shows in Vilnius held by our home club - Vilnius City Kennel Club. Sargis won two Best of Breed titles and was placed second in FCI group 1 on Saturday and won the group and was 3rd in the Best in Show lineup! Many thanks to all judges who said so many nice words about my pet pup and to everyone who cheered for us at the Group and BIS ring!

Congratulations to my son Andrew, who competed in the Junior Handlers competition for the first time that weekend and was placed 5th in his age group!

33rd International dog show in Rotterdam, Holland

Holland greeted us by strong winds and chilling rain, but we felt right at home in this hospitable country. Besides attending the 33e Internationale Kampioenschaps-Tentoonstelling voor honden van alle rassen we spent 3 lovely days in Rotterdam. I am happy that INT CH Wyndsong Halcyon Midnight Watch became Best of Breed and earned CACIB and his first CAC in Holland and INT CH Shalako Dynamite became Best of Opposite Sex also with CACIB and CAC under Dr. K. Scheel (Denmark). Many thanks to him for the thorough critiques and kind approach. Also huge thanks go to the Schenk family - you are the best! Well, looks like we will be going back to Holland!

Dzukija Summer / Druskininkai Mayor Cup 2010

Another superhot but fun weekend for us! Two days in the lovely town Druskininkai located in Dzukija region of Lithuania left us with many happy memories. On Friday, August 6, INT CH Wyndsong Halcyon Midnight Watch won LT CAC, CACIB, became Best of Breed and was shortlisted in the group under herding breeds specialist judge Barbara Muller (Switzerland). INT CH Shalako Dynamite won LT CAC, CACIB and went BOS handled by Dominyka Kolesova.

On Saturday, August 7, INT CH Wyndsong Halcyon Midnight Watch, got another LT CAC, CACIB and BOB under Karl-Erik Johansson (Sweden) and went Group 2 under Tatyana Ivanova (Russia), INT CH Shalako Dynamite was once again BOS with LT CAC and CACIB. Then we went into the competition for the Best Lithuanian Dog of the show and (what a huge and most wonderful surprise!) judge Olga Sinko Kupriyanova (Slovenia) chose Sargis! Now we have another huge cup to add to our ever-growing collection - Druskininkai Mayor Cup.
